Lindsey Guy “Pops” Cleaver, age 89, of Shirley, Arkansas passed away June 4, 2011 at Baptist Health Medical Center. He was born November 18, 1921 in Clinton, Arkansas to Clarence and Ila (Bradley) Cleaver. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army, he was a jack-of-all-trades master-of-none, loved to fish and hunt, and he was a great father and grandfather.

“Pop’s” is survived by two sons, Bobby Cleaver of Clinton, Arkansas and Ronnie Fazio of Conway, Arkansas; four daughters:, Deborah Koone, Mary (Carl) Dillard, Ruth (Bill) McCoy, and Linda Pearson; grandchildren: Little Bobby, Ashley, Jeremy (Mariah), Nikkia, Carol, Andrea, and more and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, sister - in - law Opal Cleaver of Morrilton, Arkansas many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He was proceded in death by his wife: Wanda “Louise” Cleaver; parents Clarence W. and Ila (Bradley) Cleaver, son, Donald Fazio, granddaughter Sheila Cleaver, and two grandsons, Jeremiah Bradshaw and Trey Gertz.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Pastor Tom Stover officiating. Interment will be at the Culpepper Cemetery with United States Army Military Honors.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton.
