Quentin Taylor Halbrook, age 90, of Morrilton, passed away, Sunday, March 7, 2010. He was born July 30, 1919 in Center Ridge, Arkansas, a son of Joe Halbrook and Lou Mahan Halbrook. He was the widower of Opal Bradley Halbrook. Mr. Halbrook was a World War II Army veteran, retired teacher from Petit Jean Vocational Technical School, and member of Harding Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include his son, Bruce Halbrook and wife Sandy of Manassas, Virginia; daughter, Martha Jean Halbrook and husband Jim Harding of Auburn, Alabama; grandsons, Bryan Halbrook of Auburn, Alabama; Brad Halbrook of Birmingham, Alabama, and Matthew Halbrook of Manassas, Virginia.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Harding Street Church of Christ with Mr. Charles Bane officiating. Burial will be at Halbrook Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10 at the funeral home.
