Bobby Joe Stender, 71, of Cabot, died November 13, 2013.
Bobby was born July 31, 1942 in Stuttgart, Ark. Mr. Stender was a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville and retired from State Farm Insurance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Stender and Pauline McKibben-Stender; a sister, Shirley Nolte; and a brother, Paul Stender.
He is survived by his wife, Judie Crownrich-Stender of Cabot; his children, Angela Jo Sampels and husband Stuart of Glenwood Springs, Colo., Marcus Joe Stender and wife Kerith of Santa Fe, N.M., and Marcie Jo Duncan and husband Jeff of Cabot; brother, Charles Stender of Little Rock; and grandchildren, Brian Duncan and Bobby Joe Duncan of Cabot.
The funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville with pastors Mark Smith and Cliff Hutchins officiating. The entombment services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com.
