Carl Barney Harrison, 89, of Judsonia, died Monday, March 10, 2008, at his home. He was born March 5, 1919 in Judsonia, the son of Calvin and Leda Miller Harrison. He was a member of Bethel Grove Church of Christ and was a retired construction superintendent and farmer. Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Larry and Deborah Harrison and Joel and Kim Harrison of Judsonia, and Darol and Carol Harrison of Russellville, a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Robert Mason of RIver Forest, Illinois, a sister, Ruth Dodd of Searcy, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ila Jones Harrison and wife Betty Coleman Harrison, his parents and two brothers. Visitation will be from 5-8:30 p.m. today at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bethel Grove Church of Christ. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Judsonia. Arrangements are by Powell Funeral Homes Bald Knob-Judsonia and Searcy. In lieu of flowers, memorials ay be made to Bethel Church of Christ or Arkansas Hospice.
