Dixie Lee Jones, 75, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died January 13, 2008 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born December 10, 1932 at Huntsville, Arkansas, the daughter of Ellhannan and Only Cain Reed. She was a retired cook and a member of Hope Free Will Baptist Church. She was the widow of Trenton Jones and was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Jones and Charles Jones.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Chester and Martha Jones of Huntsville, Arkansas and David and Barbara Jones of Hindsville, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Richard Chavez of Huntsville, Arkansas; two brothers, Johnny Reed and James Reed, both of Huntsville, Arkansas; one sister, Anna Sue Broyles of Huntsville, Arkansas; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, January 16, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Earl Dean Morris officiating. Interment will be in the Buckeye Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Homeof Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Daniel Sams, Randy Clark, Jeff Stacy, Wade Broyles, Trent Cotton and Danny Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be: Leon Broyles, Zachary Jackson, Jeremy Jackson, Bailey Cotton, Brady Cotton, Connor Reed, Jerry Hawkins, John Daniel Sams and Dillon Clark.
