November 2, 1888 - February 18, 1947
Maxie L. Milner, aged 58 years, died at the home near Camden at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Robert Rowe of Philadelphia, Pa., Misses Virginia and Mary Beth Milner; one son, Jimmy, all of Camden; three brothers, B. M., O. G., and B. H., all of Camden. Funeral services will be held at the Cullendale Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Rev. H. L. Villee and Rev. H. S. McLaren officiating. Burial in Mt. Horeb Cemetery south of Camden, with Proctors in charge. Active pallbearers are his six nephews, Milas Reynolds, Henry Reynolds, Randolph Reynolds, Doyle Milner, Graham Milner, and Carlton Milner. The body will remain at Proctor's Chapel until time for the funeral. (Camden News - February 19, 1947)
