Lee Andrew Witt, 84, of Hindsville died March 10 in the Madison County Hospital.
He was born March 7, 1881 in Kentucky, the son of Edmond Witt and Eliza Clark Witt, and was a member of the Primitive Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Martha Witt of the home; two sons, Jess Witt and Henry Witt both of Hindsville; one sister, Mrs. Rachel Hawkins of Combs; 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Buckeye Baptist church with
Elder Claude Counts conducting. Burial was in the Buckeye cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

Mrs. Martha Evelyn Witt, 85, of Route 2, Hindsville, died Tuesday, August 25, at the Madison County Hospital. Born October 4, 1884, in Madison County, she was the daughter of Jesse and Sarah Purser Haskins and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jesse and Henry Witt, both of Hindsville, and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Buckeye Church, with Rev. Claud Counts officiating. Burial was in the Buckeye Cemetery under direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were James Lee Witt, Donald Witt, Dwaine Witt, Raymond Phillips, Harold Burrell and Dale Johnson.
