ROGERS — Nicholas Knudsen, 23, of Rogers passed away Dec. 31, 2010, in Bentonville, Ark. Nicholas was born Oct. 12, 1987, in Rogers, the son of Steven and Tania Nichols Knudsen.
Nicholas graduated from Rogers High School and is a junior at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He worked at the Walmart David Glass Technology Center in Bentonville and attended the 13th Street Church of Christ in Rogers. Nick was deeply loved by his family. He embraced his family and loved spending time with them. His family and many friends knew him to energetic and enthusiastic with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a positive person who lived life to the fullest and called every day "the best day ever." Nick loved to learn. He was inquisitive and bad lots of ideas about life that he loved to discuss. He was interesting and interested. Nick was unconventional, but very responsible. He was independent and goal-oriented. He had big ideas and had the drive to accomplish them. Nick was a creative person and passionate about music. He loved nature and being close to the earth. Nick was a very spiritual person and loved to read and discuss the Bible. Nick's family and friends knew him to be a generous person. He was giving in his life, and as an organ donor, his generosity continues after his death.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Tania Knudsen of Rogers; his sister, Kali Knudsen of Rogers; his fiancée Becca Gardner of Rogers; maternal grandparents, Bennie and Ann Nichols of Rogers; paternal grandparents Bill and Trudy Roselle of Lincoln, Calif.; his uncle, Bryan Nichols of Plano, Texas; aunts, Debbie Nowlin and husband Mac of Anchorage, Alaska and Jacque Kerze of Palm Springs, Calif.; two cousins, Michael Kerze and Alex Nichols.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, in the Training Center Chapel at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, with Don Pruitt officiating. Interment following in the Bland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Benton County Funeral Home.
