LTC Irvin Wilson, 84, of 14050 East Linvale Place, Aurora, Colo., died Nov. 16, 1991, at Aurora Humana Hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1906, at Wesley, the son of John Alexander and Nora Lee Kennan Wilson. He had retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1967 and was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He attended the Heather Garden Chapel in Aurora, Colo., and was a member of the Mile High Retired Officers Organization and the Military Order of World Wars, both in Denver. He was a member of Army Lodge #1105 Free and Accepted Masons in San Antonio, Tex., Colorado Consistory #1, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, El Jebel Shrine Temple in Denver, and Washington Park Chapter #126, Order of the Eastern Star in Denver. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Flossie Butts Wilson, on Sept. 23, 1975.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marion Penewell Wilson of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Martha Ann Wagner of Engelwood, Colo.; one stepson, Tom Penewell of Englewood, Colo.; one brother, Vernon Wilson of Springdale; and three step-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Huntsville Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Anderson officiating. Masonic graveside rites were by Huntsville Lodge #364, Free and Accepted Masons. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
