He was born in the village of Little Walsingham.
Married to Clarissa Ann "Clara" Brown on 5 Jun 1872 in Marshall county, Tennessee.
Occupation: A farmer, miller, and Postmaster of the Marble AR Post Office in 1882.
Came to America in 1870 to visit his brother, Alfred, in Chicago, IL. Got very seasick on the way over and wouldn't go back to England.
