Mamie 'Jean' Phillips, 74, of Gosnell, AR., passed from this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Born in Blytheville, AR., to Dink and Linnie Jones Turner.
She was a retired Supervisor at American Greetings, where she worked for 35 years. Jean loved working outdoors and especially in her flower beds. She was an avid reader and loved to cook for everyone and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Bradley Phillips; brother, "Tex" Turner and sister, Dollie Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Phillips of Blytheville; brother, Bobby Turner of Memphis; grandchildren, Tiffani Morss and husband, Michael of Blytheville, Kelli Sawyer and husband, Kurt of Conway, AR and Cheyenne McDaniel of Watts, OK; great grandchildren, Makayla Moak, Brookelyn Evans and Haley Morss.
Graveside services were in Dogwood Mausoleum.
