Howard Bowers, 75, of Monette, Arkansas, passed from this life Thursday, September 26, 2013, at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola.
A resident of Monette, AR.
He was a loyal retired employee of Creative Foods for 45 years and a member of Lake City Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Rennie Bowers; his wife of 43 years, Dorothy Baldwin Bowers and his son, Thomas Edward "Tommy" Bowers.
Mr. Bowers is survived by his children, Karon Taylor of Monette, AR, Terri Bowers, of the home in Monette, AR, Teresa Burnett of Lewisville, TX and Lesa Gio of Halfmoon, AR; 9 grandchildren, Corey Edward Bowers, who was raised in his home, Kayla Matthis, Timothy Burnett, Jamie Herren, Sarah Wemberly, Michael Watson, Carla Bowers, Daniel Roach, Paul Roach and Tina Roach; 17 great grandchildren and sister, Mary Frances Murphy of Blytheville, AR; 1 nephew, Richard Lowery and 1 niece Sharon Camburn.
Funeral services were in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment was in Dogwood
