Theodore (Ted) O'Brien, 68, West Fork, died June 26 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Nov. 29, 1906, in Webb City, Mo., he was the son of Frederick J. and Maude Childress O'Brien, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fayetteville, and a retired employe of Frisco Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mamie O'Brien of the home; two sons, David Richard O'Brien, Prairie Grove, and Theodore (Teddy) Joseph O'Brien of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Regina Speegle, Prairie Grove, and Mrs. Mary Ellen Dunham, Fayetteville; and six grandchildren.
Rosary will be Sunday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Nelson Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Fayetteville, with Father Leo Riedmueller officiating. Burial will be in Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nelson.

FAYETTEVILLE — Mamie L. O'Brien passed away June 17, 2012, at Katherine's Place in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 12, 1918, to Jessie W. Collins and Gertie E. Porter Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore O'Brien.
Survivors include her two sons, David R. O'Brien of Greenland and Theodore J. O'Brien of Midwest City, Okla.; two daughters, Regina A. Speegle of Farmington and Mary Ellen Dunham of West Fork; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 22, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Beard's Funeral Chapel.
Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Mineral Springs Cemetery near West Fork, under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.
