Anthony "Tony" Rogocki, age 56 of Norfork, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. He was born June 13, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to Henry and Rita Rogocki.
Tony's love of the outdoors brought him down to Arkansas where he met and married Debbie Porter on July 15, 1982 in Norfork, Arkansas. He first went to work for Mike Hall at Ozark Opportunities and later worked for Century Telephone Company. He was a member of the Norfork Church of Christ. He was a talented musician who loved jazz music and performed with The Blue Note Jazz Band and also with the Mozark Symphony Orchestra for several years. Tony enjoyed learning new things and kept many hobbies to stay busy. He also enjoyed spending his time training his horse, Red. He was at his happiest when he was spending time with family and loved ones.
Tony is survived by his wife; Debbie Rogocki, two sons; Levi Rogocki of Mountain Home and Ethan Rogocki of Little Rock, one brother; Harry Rogocki of New York, two sisters; Charlene Kaltz and husband Louis of Michigan, and Maryle Gramaldi of Michigan, one grandson; Justin Rogocki, and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Gene Porter.
A private memorial service for family and friends will be held Friday, May 31 2013 at Porter Family Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas.
