Karl Arthur Anderson, 90, of Memphis, was welcomed into Heaven on November 14, 2011 at Caring Estates in Arlington, TN.
He was born July 11, 1921 in Memphis to John Murl "Jink" and Mira Victoria McKinney Anderson. He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis and played an active and supporting role in the choir there, for many years.
Karl was a motorcycle enthusiast and at one time rode across the country with his Mother on the back of his Harley-Davidson. He had many hobbies, including photography, music, art and reading. He was always kind to others and faithfully lived out his Christian beliefs.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved cousin, Martha Josephine (Scott) Gannon.
He is survived by his loving cousins, Patty and John Leger and their children, Michael, Jeanna and Krista of Edmond, OK and Al Gannon of Fayetteville, AR, as well as neighbors and close friends, Carl and Carol Olsen and friend, Cornelius Wise.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 18, 2011 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, Cobb Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery at 2 pm, in Blytheville, AR.
