Robert Bobby Humes, 56, of Powhatan, died March 22, 2014, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Born May 8, 1958, in Walnut Ridge, he was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County. He was an ag tech recruiter and a mechanic at Greenway Equipment, Inc. in Walnut Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ryburn and Minnie (Terry) Humes.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Sue Humes, whom he married Oct. 17, 1986; a son, Shawn Humes and wife Shirley, Powhatan; a sister, Meajean McReynolds, Powhatan; three brothers, Perry Humes and Marion Humes, both of Walnut Ridge, and Donnie Humes, Powhatan; a grandson, Robby Humes; and special friends, Steve Wade, Doug Kincade, Mike Phillips and Jason Mondy.
Funeral was March 25 at 10 a.m. at Main Street Church of Christ in Walnut Ridge. Burial was in Powhatan Cemetery under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Joe Bolick, Thomas Fry, Jason Aaron, Heath Teel, Brandon Chamberlain and Jacob Kingcade.
