Springdale - Henry Laverne Vanzant, 63, of Route 2, Springdale, died Sept. 19 in the Springdale hospital. A retired oil worker, born April 29, 1906 at Sonora, he was a Methodist and a Mason.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Evalyn Dickson Vanzant of the home; one son, Kenneth of Council Bluff, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Pat Dean of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, John L. of Oildale, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Thatch or Ventura, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sisco Funeral Chapel with burial in Sonora Cemetery.
