Carol Ann Weaver Walls, daughter of Annie Williams Weaver and the late Wayne Weaver, was born June 10, 1949 in Batesville, Arkansas. She departed this life January 17, 2013 in North Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 63 years, 7 months and 7 days. She was a 1967 graduate of Melbourne High School. Carol spent her life as a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. Carol was united in marriage to Don Walls on December 21, 1971 in Little Rock. During her working years she was employed as a legal secretary. She was of the Baptist faith.
Carol is survived by her husband of 41 years: Don Walls of North Little Rock; one son Donnie Walls and friend Tammie of Cherokee Village; one daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Justin McDougal of North Little Rock; her mother: Annie Weaver of Violet Hill; four brothers: Doyle Weaver of Violet Hill, Mike Weaver of Violet Hill, Tim Weaver and wife Cindy of Melbourne and Eric Weaver of Melbourne; three sisters: Sandra Shelton and husband John of Violet Hill, Theresa Weaver of Melbourne and Tena Tate and husband Chuck of Gid; three grandchildren: Elizabeth Moore, Grady McDougal and Maggie Mae McDougal; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Wayne Weaver; one infant brother: Wendall Weaver and one nephew: Jason Frazier.
Funeral service will be Monday, January 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Randy Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Monday, January 21 beginning at 12 noon.
Pallbearers: Garrett Sullins, Brent Sullins, Justin McDougal, Christopher Patterson, Caleb Sullins, Jacob Sullins, Trey Lamb and Andrew Weaver.
