Wayne Cates, 82, of Trumann died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital at Jonesboro.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of First Baptist Church in Trumann.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Cates of the home; two sons, Jimmy Archer of Rockford, Ill., and David Archer of Caraway; five grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Potter Memorial Cemetery
