Rogers - Mrs. Estella Mae Betts, 84, of near Lowell, died in a Springdale nursing home Thursday. She was born Nov. 18, 1879 at Winfield, Iowa, and moved to Lowell in 1935. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star in Chanute, Kan.
Surviving are a son, L. L. Roth, Springdale; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Methodist Church in Springdale, with burial in Rogers Cemetery under direction of Burns Funeral Home of Rogers.
