ROWLETT, Texas -- Mr. Woodrow Pulley, 93, of Rowlett, Texas, died Thursday evening, June 1, at the family residence.
Mr. Pulley was born in Golden Lake and had lived in Rowlett for the past five years. He was formerly of Trumann. He owned and operated a product market for many years and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Pulley in 1983; a grandson, Joseph Paul Herod; great-granddaughter, Shelby Nicole Pulley; and was the son of the late Laban and Loutisha Emaline Pierce Pulley.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Louvenia and Jerry Lillard of Trumann and Dannett and Junior Rost of Trumann; four sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Bonnie Pulley of Rowlett, Garvin and Jean Pulley of Grand Saline, Marvin and Carolyn Pulley of Lake City and James and Terri Pulley of Trumann; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Tulen and Janice Brimingham of Center, Texas; one brother, Foster Watson of Cooter, Mo.; 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home at Trumann with the Revs. Tommy Jordan and Harold Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Potters Memorial Cemetery at Lepanto.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Thomson Funeral Home.
