Captured at Arkansas Post, sent to MP Camp Douglas, Chicago, IL. Exchanged 10 Apr 1863. Wounded at Chickamauga 20 Sep 1863, left arm amputated. Discharged 28 Dec 1863.
Son of Abner Henderson & Levica Alford. Married Malinda Ferguson, daughter of Andrew Ferguson, Jr. & Dorothea Cobb.
