June Hall, 97, of Norfork, AR, passed away at her residence on May 17, 2014.
June was born to A.E. Wickersham and Susan Sword-Wickersham in Lone Rock, AR on October 31st, 1916. She graduated from Norfork High School in 1934.
June was married to Vero Hall on October 22, 1936; they were married for 60 years. She was very active in community service events.
June worked for Baxter County for over 25 years. She enjoyed making quilts, completing crosswords and reading.
June is survived by one son, Michael, and wife, Gwen of Norfork; two grandsons, James Hall and wife, Tina of Mountainburg, Ark. and Robert Hall, and wife Lisa of Anderson, Mo.; nine great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters Pauline Rosengrants of Heber Springs, Ark. and Nelly Landavazo of California.
June is preceded in death by her husband, Vero, her parents and three brothers.
Visitation will be held at Roller Funeral Home Tuesday, May 20 with family receiving friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Roller Funeral Home Wednesday May 21st at 2:00 pm. Reverend Doug Huskey officiating. Burial will follow at Galatia Cemetery.
