BATES, Cleo BROWNING - Mrs. Cleo Bates died Sunday at the home of her parents, W.C. Browning and wife, four miles west of town, at the age of twenty-two years, four months and twelve days. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ in Rogers Monday afternoon at 2:30 and were conducted by Rev. W.T. Hines. Interment was in the Rogers cemetery. Mrs. Bates is survived by her husband, Earl Bates, who is in Texas, and by two small sons. Mrs. Browning was a sister of Mrs. Eugene Dale and Walter Browning, both of Rogers.
