DYESS -- Leah Rene Portenga Carmichiel, 39, of Dyess died Wednesday, July 14, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
Born at Warren, Mich., she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Joel Carmichiel of Dyess; a daughter, Jessica Brusler of Waterford, Mich.; her parents, Richard and Patricia Portenga of Florida; and a brother, Matt Portenga of Commerce, Mich.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Potters Cemetery in Lepanto, with J. E. Crawford officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
