*Obituary
William James McGhee, 75, of Lepanto died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006 at St Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was a member of West Ridge Baptist Church and a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Arla McGhee.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian McGhee of Lepanto; one daughter, Elizabeth Black of Lepanto; three sons, J.W. McGhee, Jim McGhee and John McGhee, all of Lepanto; one brother, Jeff McGhee of Houston; three sisters, Maxine McCowns of Little Rock, Georgia Williams and Jackie Thomas, both of Houston; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were: Jerry Maness, Allen Morrisett, Warren Lacy, Whitney Lacy, Richard Holiman and Billy Upton.
Honorary pallbearers included: Roy Black, J.R. Armstrong and Howard Hendrix.
Burial was in Potter Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.
