Edna Elsie Overbey, 66, of Lavaca, AR. entered into rest on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born July 8, 1947 in Billings, Montana. She was as former employee of Willow Brook Retirement Center and a member of God's House of Prayer and the widow of Don Overbey. She is survived by 4 sons Michael Overbey of Fort Smith, AR., Billy Overbey of Lavaca, AR., Randy Overbey and wife Brigitta Overbey of Lavaca, AR. and Jimmy Overbey of Fort Smith, AR. 3 sisters Jewell McDonald of Iowa, Joyce Benton of California and Esther Sumner of Oregon , 1 brother Leo Melbaur of California and 6 grandchildren Carl Green, Timmy Overbey, Dalton Overbey, Chandler Dobbins, Trevon Overbey and Kaylie Overbey. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at God's House of Prayer at 3318 So. 79th St. Fort Smith, AR. with interment at Measels Cemetery in Lavaca, AR. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, AR. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca, AR. Pallbearers will be Jeff Cole, Stanley Cole, Shawn Cole, Eddie Cole, Mark Harkins, Brian Brown, Michael Hill and Steve Martin. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca
