Ray Chambers, 62, of Van Buren died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, in Charleston. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a disabled welder and truck driver. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2004 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Measles Cemetery in Lavaca under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. He is survived by a son, Billy Chambers and his wife Linda of Van Buren; two sisters, Betty Buckner of Charleston and Joyce Lishbrook of Fort Smith; two brothers, John Chambers of Hackett and Bud Chambers of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Brandon Ray Chambers, Kameron Vincent Chambers, and Tracie Dean Chambers, all of Van Buren. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Turner Jr., Charles Roberts and Billy Chambers. Times Record Online
