Arcena Avery, 98, of Lepanto,AR., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital at West Memphis.
She was a faithful member of the Church of God and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lida Young, and her husband, the Rev. Ernest Avery.
She is survived by sons, George Avery of Granbury, Texas, Bobby Avery of Russellville, David Avery of Somerset, Ky., Anthony Avery of Littleton, Colo., and Mike Avery of Milton, Fla.; daughters, Mary Pruitt of Eureka, Mo., Sally Weiser of Lakewood, Colo., Sharon Seidler of St. Louis and Glenda Vecht of Proctor; sisters, Tina Wood of Eupora, Miss. and Nellie Bridges of West Point, Miss.; 33 grand-children; 48 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grand-children.
Funeral services were in the Murphy Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Potter Memorial Cemetery.
