Mrs. Betty Lou Canion, 59, of Route #5, Box 61, Huntsville, died August 16, 1999 at Northwest Medical Center at Springdale. She was born July 27, 1940 at Huntsville, the daughter of Lester Raymond and Mozelle Bookout Ledbetter. She was a former employee of Meadowview Lodge Nursing Home at Huntsville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Ledbetter and Luther Dale Ledbetter.
Survivors include: her husband, Glen Canion of the home; three sons, David Canion and Darrell Canion, both of Huntsville and Danny "Bo" Canion of Clifty; one brother, Bob Ledbetter of Huntsville; two sisters, Mrs. Joann Glass of Umatilla, Oregon and Mrs. Sharl Poole of Linwood, North Carolina; six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 19th in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Roy I. Cain and Elder John Napier officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be: Jerry Ledbetter, Wayne Ledbetter, Paul Ledbetter, Jimmy Ledbetter, Edward Ledbetter, Jimmy Harris, Church Harris and J. B. Canion. Honorary pallbearers will be: Wendall Rigsbee, Carl Thomas, Cary Thomas, Darrel Thomas, Jerry Treat, Lee Treat, Keven Easterling, Ronnie Thompson and Dion Litterell.
