Joe Thomas "Junior" Cline, 72, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died February 18, 2002 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 31, 1929 at Truth, Arkansas, the son of Hubert James and Eunice Derie Cline. He was the co-owner of the Huntsville Milling Company since 1955 and had served as president of the Madison County Regional Water District for eight years. He attended the Huntsville Church of Christ and enjoyed his collection of Antique grist mills.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Judy Minor Cline of the home; one son, David Cline of Huntsville, Arkansas; his mother, Mrs. Eunice Cline of Huntsville, Arkansas; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Norma Cline, Cliff and Carolyn Cline and Jerry and Bobbie Cline, all of Huntsville, Arkansas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Marlene and Gerry Cartmell and Betty Baker, all of Huntsville, Arkansas; several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Larry Combs, Minister and Reverend Butch Bolinger officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: James Jones, Steve Bohannan, Junior Litterell, Jay Carpenter, David Gaskill, Bobby Wilson, Rick Cartmell and Jeffery Cline. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jerrod Thomas, Kent Cornett, Rick Horton, Harvey Joe McLoud, Paul Gifford, Felix Milligan, Dean Outland, Ronnie Sloan, Gilbert Ramirez, Johnny Reynolds, Franklin D. Reynolds, Johnnie Gaskill, Kay Coger, Fred Calvert, Danny Jackson, Alvin Meyers and the Board of Directors of the Madison County Regional Water District. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, H.O.P.E. Foundation in care of Audra Fleimming, 3232 N. North Hills Boulevard, Fayetteville, AR 72703 or the Friendship Club, Post Office Box 762, Huntsville, AR 72740-0762.
