John Floyd Outland, 88, of 204 Hawkins St., Huntsville, died January 19 at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Born April 9, 1891, in Huntsville, he was the son of Jerry A. and Mary Frances Harper Outland. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Arkansas Highway Department and was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lottie Keeling Outland, July 31, 1972.
Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Julia Outland of Huntsville; a grandson, Dean Outland of Springdale, and two great-grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, at the chapel of Brashear's Funeral Home, Huntsville, with the Rev. Vivan Rhodes officiating. Burial was in Huntsville Cemetery.

Lottie Outland, 85, Huntsville, died Monday, July 31, in the Madison County Hospital. She was born November 13, 1886, in Huntsville, the daughter of W. T. and Nancy Proctor Keeling. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth. She is survived by her husband, Floyd, Huntsville, one sister, Mrs. Ollie Robertson, Fayetteville, one grandchild, and one great grandchild. Funeral services were Wednesday, August 2, at two p.m. in Brashears Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Vivan Rhodes and the Reverend Joseph Perry in charge. Interment was in Huntsville Cemetery, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
