Wife of Elva L Winchester
Merle Evana Winchester, 81, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died March 9, 2013 at her home. She was born January 5, 1932 at Aurora, Arkansas, the daughter of W. F. "Bill" and Jessie Jewell Faddis Parson. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal-Holiness-Baptist faith.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory Lee and Janet Winchester of Crestline, California and Dale Wayne and Lisa Winchester of Mountainburg, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Michael Betzina of Ashland, Oregon; four brothers, O'Donnell Parson and Mike Parson, both of Huntsville, Arkansas, Bob Parson of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Larry Parson of McAlister, Oklahoma; five sisters, Dixie Davis of Metalton, Arkansas, Mary Jo Westcott of Lebanon, Oregon, Billie Jean Riedy of Winlock, Washiington, Doris Ashworth of Huntsville, Arkansas and Carol Evans of Hindsville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; ten nephews and nine nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, March 13, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Glen Faulkner officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Bob Parson, Mike Parson, O'Donnell Parson, David Ashworth, Tim Darnell and Leland Davis. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P. M. to 7:00 P. M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
