Jackie Wayne Sharp, 77, of Etowah, AR., died Saturday, June 9, 2012, in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Memphis, TN.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and a member of Keiser First Baptist Church. "LCPL, US MARINE CORPS, KOREA"
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Jennie Sharp; daughter, Sheila Sharp; and brothers, Cliff and Hardin Sharp.
Survivors include his wife, Imogean Sharp of the home; sons, Jackie Sharp of Palm Springs, Calif., and Ricky Humphreys of Denver City, Texas; daughters, Janiece Britt of Henryetta, Okla., and Peggy Stokes of Lepanto; sister, Orita Giles of Cordova, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were in Murphy Funeral Home at Lepanto. Burial was in Potter Memorial Cemetery.
