Jerry William Fritts Sr., 78, of Huntsville died May 5, 2009, at Huntsville. He was born Feb. 1, 1931, in Huntsville to Samuel and Audie Cain Fritts.
He was a retired concrete contractor and a farmer. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion in Huntsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Adcock Fritts, on July 23, 2007.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Fritts Jr. and wife Judy, and Terry Fritts and wife Glynda, all of Huntsville, and Sam Fritts and wife Carolyn of Azle, Texas; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Huntsville Cemetery, with the Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating.

May 6,1935-July 23,2007
Peggy Ann Fritts, 72, of Huntsville died July 23, 2007, at Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale. She was born March 6, 1935, in Fort Smith to Hack and Hazel Yates Adcock. She was a homemaker and a member of Huntsville Chapter 487 Order of the Eastern Star, Red Hat Society, Madison County Democratic Women's Organization, the Aurora Extension Homemakers Club and was an organizer of the Madison County Relay for Life. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntsville.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Fritts of the home; three sons, Jerry Fritts Jr., and Judy Fritts and Terry and Glynda Fritts, all of Huntsville and Sam and Carolyn Fritts of Azle, Texas; one brother, Tommy Adcock of Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Frank Cook officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J.W. Fritts, Terry Fritts Jr., Sam Fritts Jr., Halley Fritts, James Fritts and Phillip Morgan.
