Mrs. Roa Melba Armstrong, 68, died November 5 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born August 21, 1906 at Reeds Creek the daughter of Walter T. and Beulah T. Campbell Harwood.
Survivors are two sons, Jimmie Harris and Robert Armstrong, both of Springdale; one sister, Mrs. Chloe Dean of Huntsville; six grandchildren, Robert Gray, Norma Jean Armstrong, Jimmie, John Robert, Mary Nell and Cathy Harris.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 7, (today) at 2 o'clock in the Bruce Brashears Memorial Chapel with Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under direction of Brashears.
Pallbearers were Jimmie Harris, Dennis Ross, Bob Parson, Jim Watson, John Dean and Herb Worley. Rhonda Davis was honorary pallbearer.
