Paul Guzzo Sr., 86, was born December 27th, 1923 in Youngstown, Ohio. He lived in Jacksonville, Arkansas for the last thirty- seven years. Paul was the first asphalt company in the city of Jacksonville and was in business for thirty-six years. He served in the Navy in War World II and was a very brave veteran.
Paul is preceded in death by two brothers, Micheal Guzzo from Youngstown, Ohio and George Guzzo of Wellington, Florida; and one sister, Angela (Guzzo) Mavrikus of Youngston, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife Peggy "Williams" Guzzo; five children, Paulette Griswald (Gris) of New York , Deborah Dillion (Vernon), Chuck Meeks (Dana), Sandra Ingram (Mike), Frank Guzzo Jr. all of Jacksonville two-sisters, Mary "Guzzo" Raschelle of Yorktown Ohio and Nina "Guzzo" Lee Bill of Florida; twelve grandchildren , seventeen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him very much.
The Family would like to thank Dr. Ann Layton and staff, Spring Hills Baptist and Arkansas Hospice for all the wonderful care that was provided during Paul's illness.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, July 22nd , 2010 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock 501-835-3515 with interment to follow at Cypress Valley Cemetery, Vilonia, Arkansas . Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
