Donald Gene Isbell age 78 of Russellville died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at his home.
He was born August 28, 1934 at Haskell, Texas to the late Wilburn Rudolph and Mary Elva Driver Isbell.
He was a member of the New beginnings Church of God in Russellville. He loved to train and run race horses, but most of all he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kay Riley.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mary Isbell of Russellville; one son, Donny Isbell and wife Barbara of Centerville; one daughter, Gyree Isbell of Russellville; one sister, Laffell Riley of Lubbock, TX; two grandchildren, Chris Isbell and Cindy of Dover, Forrest Isbell and wife Brittany of Russellville; two great grandchildren, Alexis Isbell and Brianna Isbell both of Dover.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 4, 2013 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Pastor Robert O'Bryant officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Minnow Creek Cemetery.
