MELBOURNE — Patsy Rae Coone Jirovec, 72, of Melbourne died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at her home.
Born March 23, 1937, in Bogalusa, La., she was the daughter of Van B. and Maudie Lee Coone. She was united in marriage to Daniel Emil Jirovec on Aug. 20, 1956. She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years; two sons, Rick Jirovec of Greenville, N.C., and Randy and Shirley Jirovec of Dallas, Ore.; a daughter, Linda Coleman of Phoenix; a brother, Paul E. Coone of New Iberia, La.; seven grandchildren, Kyla Jirovec, Daniel Jirovec, Jonathan Jirovec, Timothy Daniel Jirovec, Nathan Jirovec, Rachel Jirovec and David Jirovec; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Timothy Jirovec; and a grandson, Jonathan Jirovec.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Reeves Cemetery with Elvis Sneathern officiating. Arrangements are by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be John Higgins, Adam Langston, Jim Goodman, Shanon Smith, Daniel W. Jirovec and Nathan Jirovec.
Honorary pallbearer is Dwight Smith.
