FAYETTEVILLE — Elda F. Dumas, 73, of Fayetteville died June 3, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born April 14, 1932, in Anthony, Kan., to Glen and Fay Ella Philbrick Tharp. She was a former schoolteacher in the Fayetteville elementary schools.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Dumas of the home; one son, Greg Dumas of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter, Debra Caperton of Fayetteville; one brother, Owen Tharp of Woukomis, Okla.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Round Mountain Cemetery with Ernest Edge officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Beard's Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fayetteville Church of God, 631 Mission Blvd., Fayetteville, 72701.
