Mrs. Lula May Husband Succumbs to Long Illness.

Mrs. Lula Mae Husband, 54, died at the home of her parents, M. and Mrs. Edward A. Ackles, near Creswell, Thursday, February 2, following an illness of several months.

She was born near Pittsfield, Ill., February 24, 1895. She was married to Wayne I. Husband, to which union five children were born. She moved to this county in 1927, location at Boswell and later moving to near Creswell. She united with the Methodist church at Valley City, Illinois.

Surviving are her parents; one son, Charles E. Husband of Caldwell, Kansas; three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Leota Gerald of Kokomo, Ind., Mrs. Laura May of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Lola Brothers of Indianapolis, Ind.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in Calico Rock, Sunday afternoon by the pastor Rev. Luther K. Wilson. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, Calico Rock, with the Roller Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Note: The gravestone is broken from the base and the bottom is buried in the ground. The listed death date was taken from the Izard County, Arkansas cemetery book.
