Terrell V. Ellen, born January 23, 1958, in El Dorado, AR went to be with his Lord & Savior on Monday, September 27, 2010, after a lengthy and bravely fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Terry graduated from El Dorado High School in 1976 and graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1981 with a BS degree in electrical engineering. He worked for General Dynamics on the F16 program in Ft. Worth, TX before working for Boeing on the B52 in Witchita, Kansas.

Terry moved back to his hometown of El Dorado, AR with his family in 1984 to work with his father at E & B Supply. Terry, his dad, and others went on to begin a new business, Jo El Electric Supply. Terry sold in 2007 due to illness.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Wanda Ellen and his brother, David Ellen.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Marlys Hayden Ellen, three wonderful boys, Joshua Walker, Daniel Forrest, & Timothy Kyle Ellen of Norphlet, AR from his previous marriage; a step-son, Aaron Carpenter of Monroe, LA; and a sister, Jo Anna Smith of Cotter, AR.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, carpentry work, and traveling with his family.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Norphlet United Methodist Church with Bro. Zack Roberts officiating. A private burial will be held at Kirby Tucker Cemetery in Mountain Home, AR under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Norphlet United Methodist Church or The Carcinoid Cancer Foundation, Inc., 333 Mamaroneck # 492, West Plains, NY 10605.
