Born October 28, 1909, Gintown, Jefferson County, Alabama.
Died May 31, 1972, Mountain Home, Baxter County, Arkansas.
Son of Jim Ab & Ola Davis Statum.
Husband of Wilma Vaughn Statum.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10AM today (Thursday) at the McClure-Smith Chapel for Freddie H. Statum, 62, of Route 3, Mt. Home, who died Monday at the Baxter General Hospital. Rev. Roy Tennison of Norfork will Officiate.
A member of the Assembly of God Church and a retired television repairman, Mr. Statum moved to Baxter County in 1952 and resided at Salesville, southeast of here. The son of Jim Ab Statum and Ola Davis Statum, he was born Oct 28, 1909, at Gintown, AL.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wilma Vaughn Statum, and a son, Gerald D. Statum, both of Mt. Home; five daughers, Mrs. Ruby Johnston and Mrs. Linda Froehle of Fort Worth, TX, Mrs. Dorothy Pool of Austin, TX, Mrs. Norma Tedford of Gorman, TX, and Mrs Yvonne King of Gladstone, MI.
Interment will be in the Galatia Cemetery, east of Norfork, under the direction of the McClure-Smith Service.
