KIRBY BALLENGER

Kirby Ballenger, 83, Rt. 1, Farmington, died July 5 at Fayetteville. Born June 6, 1893, in Jamestown, Ky., he was the son of Daniel and Matilda Oaks Ballenger, a retired construction worker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Brumley Ballenger of the home; two sons, Darrell Ballenger, Dayton, Ohio, and Hugh Ballenger, Jasper, Ind.; five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Bishop, Mrs. Elsie McFarlin and Mrs. Uldene Wolford, Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Carol Terry, Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Jane Sullivan, Indianapolis, Ind.; one stepson, Nolan Sims, Farmington; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Callie Perse, Fayetteville; three half brothers, Willie Warner and Charlie Warner, Russell County, Ky., and Estel Warner, Indianapolis, Ind.; one half sister, Mrs. Nancy Clark, Anderson, Ind.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Walter Jesser officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Moore's.
