Lena R. Gresham, 64, of Norfork, wife of Glen L. Gresham, died Thursday at the Baxter General Hospital.
A native of Baxter County, she was born March 19, 1907, in the Lone Rock community, the daughter of Bill Avey and Lucy Davis Avey. She was married 30 years ago and returned to Baxter County to reside five years later.
Survivors include her husband of Norfork; two brothers, Jim and Uylis Avey, whose addresses are unknown; a sister, Mrs. Nina Mathew of Whiteface, TX; an aunt, Mrs. Mary Wilbur of Norfork; several cousins and nieces.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Norfork Church of Christ with Bro. Orbie Stone of Mt. Home officiating. Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery under the direction of McClure-Smith Service.
Pallbearers were Cecil Farmer, Sid Skidmore, Paul Hogan, Ed Simpson, O.C. Simpson and Jerry Parnell.
