Cora Lee Augustus, 77, of Fort Smith died Thursday, July 15, 2010, in her home.
She was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church and the Phillis Wheatley Club.
Funeral was at St. James Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Rowell Parish Mortuary in Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, LaDonna Mitchell of Fort Smith; a son, Danny Augustus of Fort Smith; five sisters, Bertha Wilson, Rosemary Josenberger, Norma Flemming, Carolyn Dawson and Charlette McKinney, all of Fort Smith; a brother, Edgar Whitfield of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were George Butler, Cameron and Charles Flemming, Phil Wilson, Steve Owens, Johnnie Jackson, Kane Whitt and Sam Smith.
