Rosa B. Miles Sperling, 99, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother went to be with the Lord on Monday April 9, 2007, her family by her side. She will be greatly missed.
Rosa was born Jan. 6, 1908, in Allen Reed, Texas, to Benjamin and Martha Miles. She married Thomas Sperling on Jan. 29, 1927, in Dexter, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, one daughter, one great-grandson, one granddaughter, six sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include three daughters, Rozella Russell of Lafayette, La., Bernie Kemper of San Angelo, Texas, and Ethel Waggoner of Pea Ridge; daughter-in-law, Betty Sperling of DeLand, Fla., and 75 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today, April 10, at Johnson's Funeral Home in San Angelo.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hazel Valley Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
