CONNOR, J.S. - Dr. J.S. Connor, aged about 70, who practiced medicine and surgery in Rogers several years ago, died at his home in West Fork, Okla. Friday afternoon. Dr. Connor moved from Rogers to West Fork about 1905 and had made his home and practiced his profession there since that time. He was a member of Odd Fellows and Masonic lodges and an active civic and church worker. Funeral services were to be held at the West Fork Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the pastor, the Rev. Mr. Mason, officiating. Burial will be in Baptist Ford cemetery. Dr. Connor is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Barnette; one son, Carl Connor of Memphis and two nephews, J.W. and B.F. Bryant of Rogers.
