William H. Shumway, 80 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

He was born on November 19, 1934 in Ashland, Wisconsin to his parents Fred Oran and Alice Lousia (Tutor) Shumway.

William served in the United States Marines for twenty years serving in Vietnam and Korea. He was a member of the Paris Masonic Lodge #378, Shriners, served as the State Director for AARP and was Santa Claus in Paris for twenty years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Oran and Alice Lousia (Tutor) Shumway.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Edna (Greb) Shumway of Paris; one daughter, Janice Morgan of Fort Smith; one son, Michael Shumway and wife Courtney of Lufkin, Texas; one sister, Rosanne Peterson of Rochester, Minnesota and two grandchildren, Haylee Shumway and Chance Shumway.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris with full military honors under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be the Paris Masonic Lodge #378.
