Michael Hoffbauer, 71, of Waldo, AR died Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his residence in Waldo.
Michael was born January 1, 1946 in Batesville, IN. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was a truck driver for PRT Trucking in Nashville, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Jacob and Deloris Cecelia (Batta) Hoffbauer; brothers Robert and Ralph Hoffbauer; and step daughter Melissa Shocklee. He is survived by his wife Denise (Toland) Hoffbauer of Waldo; daughter Lisa Johnson of Seymour, IN; son Scott Hoffbauer and wife Leanne of Westfield, IN; grandchildren Garrett and Braeyton Johnson of Seymour, IN, Ella and Mason Hoffbauer of Westfield, IN; brothers Albert Hoffbauer and wife Barb of Gilbert, IN, William Hoffbauer and wife Nancy of Indiana; step son Dwayne Shocklee and wife Chana of Sheridan; step grandchildren Rebecca, Jacob, and Ashley Shocklee of Magnolia; mother in law Ann Toland of Magnolia; and brother in law Chester Toland of Magnolia.
A Rosary with visitation following will be Monday, March 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel in Magnolia. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Robert Cigainero officiating. Burial will be at the Shiloh Cemetery in Waldo.
Pallbearers will be Dwayne Shocklee, Jacob Shocklee, Donnie Volk, Scott Hoffbauer, Wendy Hoffbauer, and Susan Stafford.
